The Arctic Six Extended Cross-Border Energy Collaboration is an initiative to accelerate sustainable energy development across the Arctic region.

The Arctic Six Extended Cross-Border Energy Collaboration is an initiative to accelerate sustainable energy development across the Arctic region. As the impacts of climate change intensify—particularly in the North—the task force addresses the urgent need for regionally grounded, cross-border solutions to complex energy challenges.

Aiming to bridge critical gaps in current and future energy value chains, the collaboration brings together industries, technology developers, researchers, and communities. It places strong emphasis on local leadership, while also fostering transnational cooperation across the Arctic.

By providing a shared platform, the initiative enables energy stakeholders—from municipalities and companies to universities and Indigenous communities—to align efforts and co-create sustainable solutions.
