Sophie Arneberg Rohde, a PhD Research Fellow at Nord University, examines how activism and sustainability values shape consumer behaviour and organisation within what is known as alternative food networks (AFNs). She studies how these networks have developed and spread across Nordic regions over the past decade, analysing their ties to place-based identities, ethical consumption, and local responses to global environmental challenges.
