This brown bag seminar addresses Arctic land transportation corridors through governance, indigenous rights, community impacts, and cross-border coordination.
Programme
Drawing on comparative perspectives from Northern Europe and Canada, the session discusses how corridor planning and hinterland connections are shaped by legal frameworks, institutional arrangements, and local and indigenous concerns.
The seminar emphasizes interdisciplinary dialogue across law, geography, planning and political economy, with particular attention to coordination challenges in the High North.
The brown bag seminar is free and open to all, you can bring your own lunch. Coffee and light snacks will be served.
